Coach Rich Brooks Hates Being Gator Bait

Kentucky Coach Rich Brooks took great exception to the pounding his Wildcats took last weekend. Florida handed Brooks his worst lost since he came to Kentucky (63-5). The loss has him looking at ch- ch- ch- changes.

At his Monday news conference, Brooks said Freshman Randall Cobb will be the starting quarterback when the Wildcats face Mississippi State on Saturday because Cobb is “better able to move the ball”.

Brooks says Mike Hartline will have a supportive role. Ouch.

Now, I’ll be the first to admit – I’m much more “in the know” when it comes to baseball and college basketball, but even I have to say that if my team got roughed up for 63 points, I wouldn’t be worried as much about moving the ball as I would be about stopping it from going in the other direction.

So many times.
