I can’t even begin to tell you how much I LOVE this time of year. For me, there’s a certain, crisp magic in the air that’s palpable. I swear, I can smell it and feel it.
A few of the funnest things about the months of September, October, and November are pumpkin patches and corn mazes. Fortunately, here in Kentucky, we’ve got it good. Kentuckians flat out know what they’re doing when it comes to having fun in autumn. I think part of the reason is that we have the sort of seasons that a lot of other states just dream of. So, when it comes to getting the most out of spring and fall… we like to flaunt it but good! We never said we were humble, right?
This autumn, you’ll want to take a trip to Harrodsburg, Kentucky and visit Devine’s Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch. Not only for the beautiful scenery, of course… you’ll want to return home with a few magnificent pumpkins and gorgeous mums.
Devine’s also corn fodder, gourds, and cushaws – everything you’ll need for decorating this autumn. You know you’ll want your yard and home to be filled with the colors and attitude of autumn. Again with the flaunting.
To read more about Devine’s and see some great pictures, visit their web site. You’ll definitely want to visit them when Halloween rolls around. I was looking through their pictures from 2008 and I’m pretty sure I saw Pin Head.
