Do Your American Duty and Then Toast Yourself With Free Coffee!
I went to vote this morning (here in Owensboro, Kentucky) around 10:00. I was expecting long lines, but I was able to go right in, sign my name, cast my votes, get a sticker (more about that in a minute), and head off on my way.
I came right home because one of my beloved cats recently broke her leg in two places, so I don’t like being away from her (even though she was left with my 3 daughters!).
When I came in, though, I checked a few news sites and saw that Starbucks was giving free coffee to voters. Soooo, my sticker and I drove down the road for our free coffee. I’m actually nursing it right now as CNN plays behind me.
Be sure you get out there and vote in this amazingly historical election. And, remember, save your sticker (even after Starbucks) and newspapers. We’re living through history, boys and girls.
