Lake Cumberland State Resort Park is a breathtakingly beautiful park… the proof is in the pictures below. While Lake Cumberland (the houseboat capital of the world!) may be the main attraction, I’m just as blown away by the wooded cabins, tree lines roads, beautiful lodge, and uncommonly friendly people. If you want a very special get away, I strongly urge you to spend a weekend at Lake Cumberland State Resort Park.
The beautiful, secluded, and oh-so peaceful cabins in the woods are quite unlike anything I’ve ever seen. I tried to capture the tranquil setting, hills, and thick woods in the pictures. I wanted to convey to you JUST how in the wood these cabins are. If you love serenity, trees, birds, squirrels, and deer – you’ll never want to leave these cabins. The only sounds you hear are, literally, the wind listing through the trees and the birds singing. I could listen to the symphony all day.
As you’ll be able to see, there are countless things to do and see at Lake Cumberland State Park. For one thing, did you know that Lake Cumberland has the only Disc Golf Course in the Kentucky State Park System. What’s more.. it’s a beauty!
