We’re lucky enough to live right down (or up?) the road from Panther Creek Park. Panther Creek is beautiful year-round, but in the summer and fall, it’s especially gorgeous. Panther Creek Park is one of the best places to hike or walk in the area – possibly any area. The views are nothing short of amazing.
Panther Creek Park is also a beautiful place to hold a wedding.
My youngest daughter, Stephany, did just that! She and Rusty had a beautiful wedding in one of Panther Creek Park’s gazebos, followed by a great reception in one of their huge enclosed picnic areas.
With an old schoolhouse (Pleasant Grove School), bridges, a covered bridge, a large pond which draws tons of ducks and geese, and even a wooden outhouse (behind the old schoolhouse), Panther Creek Park is a very interesting place to visit.
When you go, be sure to take your camera because there’s always something cool to photograph.

Hi, Tammie! It is, indeed, a small world! I’m so glad you found Genuine Kentucky and stopped by to say, “Hi!” It’s always great meeting a fellow Kentuckian and I get an extra kick out of meeting those who are in my neck of the woods! – Joi (“Joy”)
