Gorgeous Bobcat at The Nature Station, Land Between the Lakes
As someone who homeschooled her three beautiful daughters all the way from Kindergarten through 12th Grade, I think the following press release is too cool. April is Homeschooler’s Month in the Land Between the Lakes and I hope every homeschooler in the area will show their appreciation by visiting this EXTRA special place more than once.
While each spot in the area is FUN (with a capital F, U, and N!) for the entire family, it’s FUN that can be turned into learning experiences. The learning opportunities cover history (Homeplace), animals, birds, and botany (Nature Station and Elk & Bison Prairie), and even astronomy (Planetarium).
Each location is also a golden opportunity to learn more about Kentucky. You honestly could spend an entire weekend in the Land Between the Lakes and still not experience ALL there is to experience and learn.
Again, please go and show your appreciation for having an entire month in the homeschooling family’s honor! – Joi (“Joy“)
The following event has passed, but you can find up-to-the-minute Kentucky Events on our Events Page. Also, check out some of the best things to do in Kentucky… most importantly, just get out there and enjoy our beautiful state!
