Yeiser Art Center in Downtown Paducah
If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a gajillion (made up word basically meaning countless) times – I LOVE downtowns. Naturally, Kentucky has the best downtowns in the country and Paducah is home to one of the best.
I could spend an entire day in downtown Paducah. Morning coffee at Etcetera, followed by shopping, lunch, and more shopping. Followed by photographing every inch of the down town and riverfront, followed by another trip to Etcetera, followed by supper and more shopping….. and back to Etcetera.
Why haven’t I actually done this? Come on, me, make it happen!

Paducah’s “Five Dollars” History!
On our most recent trip to Paducah, it was unfortunately little more than a “drive by.” We did, however, allow time for a quick trip to Etcetera and I snapped a few pictures (shown here) of a good looking fella in front of the Yeiser Art Center. He was the strong silent type, but what I loved most is the fact he was St. Louis Cardinals red.

As for my St. Louis Cardinals… we’ll get ’em next year!
